Please, Don't Leave Our Children Behind Day
April 18, 2007
A day for gifted children, their
families and their teachers to gather in Springfield, Illinois
espaņol
(thanks to Rosina Gallagher!)

Join many gifted
children, their parents and their teachers on a visit to Springfield,
our state capital. The objectives of this visit are twofold. First, we
want our children to experience democracy in action, see how laws are
made, meet their local representatives and visit the new Lincoln Library
or local historic sites. Second, we want state lawmakers to see that
many of their constituents are interested in educating gifted children.
This is the chance for our children to learn about law-making by seeing
it in action and for our legislators to learn about gifted children by
seeing some of them in action!
Show the gifted
children in your life that their needs are important. Bring them to
Springfield on April 18, 2007!
Individuals, families, parent groups and school groups are all
encouraged to participate.
