GECO Literary Book Club

The GECO Literary Book Club meets monthly, usually on the third Wednesday of the month at 12:30 at a member’s home or the Library. The group focuses on learning through works of non-fiction and historical fiction.

Would you like to attend a GECO Book Club meeting?

Email: gecoliterarybookclub@arvamont.com for the location of our next meeting!  Then read the book (or at least skim it!) and join us for a lively discussion. Please feel free to bring a bagged lunch to enjoy while we discuss the book. Copies of the books are available at the Hinsdale Library circulation desk about 4 weeks prior to the meeting.

The Literary book is reading:

Wednesday, February 15 Our next overall subject is an exploration of the three great queens of England. First up: Queen Victoria. We will learn about the time period by reading Emma, by Jane Austen, a novel that surely was read by Queen Victoria.
Wednesday, March 21 Great queens of England: Book TBD on Queen Elizabeth I
Wednesday, April 18 Great queens of England: Book TBD on Queen Elizabeth II
